Water is naturally interesting as the source of life, all early settlements started around lakes, rivers or bodies of water after all. My parents talked about how it is possible that in the future countries would fight for resources such as water. It is ironic that a source of life can become a cause of death due to human interference.

We went through a part of the nature park where there were a lot of dead trees, the most interesting part was that there were few and apart. My theory is that they were struck by lightning. While taking the photos, I thought about how life contrasting death looks charming. It emphasizes the ecstasy of life and the devastation of death. |
In this photo, there was lots of trees which were 50 plus years old, it was fun seeing all the cracks, lines and bends. It is facinating how plants age. Plants don't deal with emotions or systems as we do but they grow in hard to predict ways, they get chipped and harmed like us. The biggest difference is that they keep growing, as people we get exhausted from system that are meant to help us and we stop growing emotionally.

I photographed this from a forest my family always walks in. My family is one of the most important things to me. As humans we understand things when we spend more time with them, hypothetically your family will be the people that are closest to understanding you. I think of putting in the effort to understand something or someone as a deep show of affection, it is heartwarming to think that it can naturally in families.
